Abdominal Cancer Awareness Mega Show with Kabir Cafe - 19th May, 2023

To mark Abdominal Cancer Day, an Abdominal Cancer Awareness Mega Show will be held at the Birla Auditorium, Jaipur on May 19. A global campaign for Abdominal cancer awareness is being organised under the leadership of Dr. Sundeep Jain and the Abdominal Cancer Trust.

The event will feature a talk show with Dr. Sundeep Jain, the founder of Abdominal Cancer Day and performances by Kabir Café, one of India’s most famous folk-fusion band. Their music is based on the 15th-century Indian couplets of Kabir, Neeraj Arya's Kabir Cafe is an Indian indie-folk and folk-fusion music band based in Mumbai. His songs Panchrang Geet "Man Lagyo Mero Yaar Fakiri Mein" was featured as 'Fakiri' in the 2017 Indian comedy-drama film Hindi Medium and "Hoshiyar Rahna Nagar Mein Chor Aayega" was featured in the film Baadshaho. "Matkar Maya Ko Ahankar" and "Kya Leke Aaya Jagat Mein" from the same album were featured in the Hindi-language crime drama web-series Scam 1992; featured in The Harshad Mehta Story.
